Do you want to save money and help the environment?

That's the two main benefits of heat pump technology, and it's becoming increasingly part of many countries strategies to reduce CO2.

But many of us have never heard of this technology, so you've come to the right place to learn more!

In fact nearly all of us own at least one heat pump device already: the refrigerator. Air conditioners are also using this technique too. Nowadays heat pump technology is better than ever and being applied in other places around the home including for heating a house, heating the water and even for drying clothes!

We all know that electric heat is expensive, but heat pumps don't make heat, they move heat that already exists to another location. That's why heat pump technology is so much cheaper than traditional electric heating.

And because electricity can be made a lot more cleanly nowadays heat pumps have become preferable to burning fossil fuels like gas.
